The company was established in 1986 to service a growing need for the destruction of confidential data. The services provided at the time involved the shredding and pulping of materials.

Within a period of 7 years, the clients of Pro-Security Papers had changing needs. The quality of materials started to change, more plastic media was being used, floppy disks, CD, videos, window envelopes, plastic dividers and laminated paperwork are just a few examples. This required a great deal of sorting to remove the contamination from the paper in the paper mill. The materials then had to be land filled because it could not be used, defeating the object of recycling waste paper as well as escalating costs dramatically.

We decided to change, to make our operation 100% focussed on recycling, more secure, more cost effective and more efficient for our clients. The company has grown over the years and in 2002 the company was renamed to PSP Incineration LTD.

Our services to business have increased because of our commitment to the
‘Recycled waste into Energy’ programme.

Our clients today know that all of the materials collected by PSP are totally destroyed by incineration, therefore safeguarding their confidentiality and company security. This is further assured the minimum of handling during our recycling process, direct from the client to the power station.

A large range of materials can be destroyed in this way, leaving nothing for landfill. This makes our disposal operation the way forward, if a client’s requirements stipulate that waste must be RECYCLED, it must be TOTALLY SECURE, with a MINIMUM OF HANDLING whilst never been sold to a third party or shipped out of the country then they need PSP.
